Japan Earthquake 11th March 2011: International Flight Information

International flights to Japan have been disrupted following a major earthquake and tsunami in the country. Flights to Tokyo Narita Airport and Haneda Airport have been diverted.

Narita Airport

A statement from Narita Airport said:

Vehicles only to pick up passengers can enter and leave the airport through the number 2 Gate.

Passengers need to stay only at designated areas on arrival lobby and at bus gates within the security area that have been confirmed to be safe. Blankets, water, and food are provided.

Some departing flights are in service.
All arriving flights will be redirected to other airports.

Railways are not in service. Highways are closed.

It is expected that they will stay closed at least today.

Airport staffs are in place where passengers stay. If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to ask them for help.

Please stay calm and listen to airport staffs carefully.
